Webellian in Warsaw is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build and maintain a central data platform that enables data-driven decision‑making for a global insurer. The role focuses on scalable data processing, security, and performance at scale.

You will work with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and BI developers, implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC, and adopt a DevOps mindset while exploring Data Lakehouse concepts and modern data architectures within a hybrid work setup.

Formación

• Expertise in cloud data resources (Azure preferred) including ADF, Databricks and Fabric.
• Proficient in Python (Spark oriented), SQL and PowerShell/Bash.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• DevQAOps mindset: build, to run and to own it.
• Understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts like Delta Lake and Data Vault.
• MLOps knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and different departments.
• Enterprise-scale project experience desirable.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data platform to support global enterprise.
• Ensure fulfillment of performance requirements, cost optimization, data protection, IT security and scalability needs.
• Cooperate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and BI Developers to understand requirements fully and navigate to best long term solutions.
• Resolve incidents.
• DevOps mindset – you build it, you run it.
