Job summary

Displate is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform Team in Warsaw. You will own and evolve our multi-cluster EKS infrastructure and drive automation with Terraform and Terragrunt, while optimizing AWS costs.

You'll collaborate with development teams to improve deployment pipelines, enhance observability, and strengthen Kubernetes security. The role offers autonomy and a platform-focused culture where you shape the stack and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience administering Kubernetes clusters at scale (EKS).
• 3+ years of commercial experience in managing AWS cloud environments (ALB, VPC, EFS, EBS, EC2, S3, IAM, EKS control plane).
• Proven experience designing multi-cluster Kubernetes architectures and IaC at scale.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve our multi-cluster EKS infrastructure—from day-to-day operations to upgrades and capacity planning.
• Keep Terraform and Terragrunt code clean, scalable, and refactoring-ready.
• Be the go-to for Kubernetes internals: troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security hardening (RBAC, network policies, secrets).
• Drive cost optimization and make cloud spend a conscious engineering decision.
• Partner with development teams to improve deployment pipelines, tooling, and developer experience.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools when they genuinely solve a problem.
• Contribute to observability and ensure we know what’s happening in our systems.
