Job summary

Billennium is seeking an OCI-focused engineer to design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for global clients. You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage IAM, and optimize costs while collaborating with development teams on migrations.

Strong Linux scripting, CI/CD experience, and knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes are highly valued, with opportunities to work on multi-cloud and security-focused projects across a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in production
• Strong understanding of cloud networking (VCNs, subnets, load balancers, VPN/FastConnect)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
• Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of IAM, security policies, and compliance frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, OCI DevOps)
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Good cost management and resource optimization in cloud environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Configure and maintain compute, networking, storage, and database services within OCI
• Implement IaC using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager
• Manage IAM policies, compartments, and tenancy structure
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost optimization
• Implement and maintain security best practices (network security groups, WAF, encryption, Vault)
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support incident resolution
• Collaborate with application teams on cloud migration and architecture design
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements
• Nice to have multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (OCI Monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Background in database services (Oracle Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service)
