Billennium is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our automotive client project. You will build secure, scalable solutions that fit into engineering workflows and raise the bar on developer experience.

You will work in a hybrid setup in Poland, contributing to CI/CD, IaC, and AI-enabled tooling, with a global team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and secure configurations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.
• Strong scripting and automation skills across Bash/PowerShell.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client in the automotive industry.

What you will do:

• Create reusable, extensible, and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly into engineering workflows.
• Make the Golden Path the easiest path for our colleagues.
• Experiment and build with AI (LLMs, agents, MCP) to rethink how software is built and how it can help in the software development process of the future.
• Partner closely with teams to understand pain points and how to eliminate them.
• Continuously evolve the existing solutions based on real usage and feedback.
• Raise the bar for developer experience across the organization.

What we are looking for:

• Kubernetes or OpenShift (deployments, manifests, core resources).
• CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions).
• Automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Software engineering background (Python, TypeScript, React).
• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker).
• Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and modern collaboration practices.
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps and secure-by-design principles.
• Experience or strong conceptual understanding of AI and its usage in software development.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
• Experience and knowledge of Agile WoW.
