Job summary

Sii Poland is looking for a data professional to join our Data & Analytics Competence Center, focusing on data processing and analysis within cloud environments such as Azure Databricks. You will work on scalable data platforms and collaborate with Data Science and BI teams.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Spark, and building ETL/ELT pipelines in Data Lake/Data Warehouse contexts, with fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data processing projects.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark.
• Designing Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
• ETL/ELT pipelines development and data orchestration.
• Cloud-based Azure data processing projects (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric).
• Fluent English and Polish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data processing platforms in Data Lake/Data Platform architecture.
• Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration using Azure Databricks.
• Model data and prepare structures for analytics and business needs.
• Implement batch and near real-time data processing solutions.
• Monitor and optimize existing pipelines and data processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and Data Science on data prep and sharing.
• Gather business requirements and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and share best practices.
