Job summary

Hatch in Katowice (on-site) is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to projects across metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

You will perform static and strength calculations, develop technical documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Higher education degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable building regulations and Eurocode standards.
• Ability to work independently on design tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in structural design software (Robot Structural Analysis).
• Responsible for assigned tasks and project schedules with high-quality documentation.
• Proactively seeking technical solutions and applying modern industry practices.
• Very strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Static and strength calculations of industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations.
• Solving technical issues related to project execution.
• Preparing technical and design documentation.
• Working on projects at various levels of detail: concepts, basic designs, and detailed/execution designs.
• Cooperating with assistants, engineers from other disciplines, project management, clients, and suppliers.
• Participating in project and coordination meetings.
