Job summary

Hatch in Katowice, Poland seeks an experienced structural engineer to join its Project Delivery Group, focusing on industrial steel and concrete structures. You will perform static and strength calculations, prepare design documentation, and contribute to projects from concept to detail.

Ideal candidates bring at least 4 years in civil/structural engineering, a degree in construction or civil engineering, knowledge of Eurocode, and proficiency in design software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Higher education in construction/civil engineering.
• Knowledge of building regulations and Eurocode standards.
• Ability to work independently in design.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of structural design software (Robot Structural Analysis).
• Responsibility for assigned tasks, maintaining the project schedule, and ensuring high quality of the documentation created.

Responsibilities

• Static and strength calculations of industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations.
• Creating technical and design documentation
• Working on projects of varying levels of detail: concepts, basic designs, detailed designs
• Collaboration with assistants and engineers from other disciplines
• Participation in project and coordination meetings
