Job summary

Hatch in Katowice is seeking a Structural/Civil Designer to join our Project Delivery Group on-site. You will model industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures in 3D, prepare material take-offs, and create drawings and documentation through concept to detailed design.

The role requires 3–4 years in 3D structural modeling, reading technical docs, and strong English. Familiarity with Tekla or Revit is expected; MicroStation/OpenBuildings Designer is a plus.

Qualifications

We are looking currently for Structural/ Civil Designer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Katowice (on-site).

Your responsibilities

• 3D modeling of industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Preparation of material take-offs
• Creation of technical drawings and project documentation
• Working on projects at different stages: concept, basic design, and detailed design
• Collaboration with other members of the project team
• Participation in project and coordination meeting

Our requirements

• Relevant technical or higher education (civil engineering or related field)
• 3-4 years of experience in 3D modeling of structural designs
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Good command of English, allowing for effective technical communication
• Experience with 3D design tools (e.g. Tekla, Revit, or similar)
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage tasks effectively
• High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and deadlines

Optional

• Knowledge of MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer
• Experience working on international projects
