Job summary

Coinspaid Solutions, a fintech building blockchain payment infrastructure, seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to build and lead the accounting function from scratch in Poland (Warsaw or Poznan, hybrid). The role suits a senior accounting professional comfortable in an international environment and acting as a key finance partner.

You will set up Polish statutory reporting, payroll, VAT/CIT, and coordinate with HQ.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, incl. chief/senior role
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regimes
• Experience in IT services or international environments is advantageous
• Experience setting up accounting for a new entity is a plus
• Familiarity with Polish IP Box regime
• Experience with ERP/local accounting software (Enova365)
• Payroll, VAT, cross-border services understanding
• English working proficiency

We have opened a new legal entity in Poland and are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to build and lead the accounting function from scratch. This role is ideal for a senior accounting professional who is comfortable operating in an international environment, setting up processes, and acting as a key finance partner to management.

Location: Poland (Warsaw or Poznan prefered, hybrid)

Team size: ~80-90employees

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting

• Set up and manage full-cycle accounting for a Polish legal entity
• Ensure compliance with Polish accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage payroll accounting in cooperation with external payroll providers
• Oversee VAT, CIT, PIT and other tax filings and payments

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting and filings
• Act as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
• Maintain internal accounting controls and documentation
• Support audits and inspections

Business Support

• Support management with financial analysis and reporting
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Advise management on accounting and tax implications of business decisions

Team & Process Development

• Build, structure, and manage the local accounting team (as the company scales)
• Implement accounting policies, procedures, and workflows
• Coordinate accounting processes with HQ / group finance (if applicable)

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, including senior or chief accountant role
• Strong hands-on experience with Polish accounting and tax regulations
• Experience in IT services companies or international environments is a strong advantage
• Experience setting up accounting for a new entity is a plus
• Practical knowledge of the Polish IP Box regime
• Experience with accounting systems (ERP / local accounting software, Enova365)
• Understanding of payroll, VAT, and cross-border services
• Working proficiency of the English language
