Job summary

Avon Cosmetics Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Chemist in the Quality Assurance team to ensure cosmetic formulations meet quality, safety, and production standards.

You’ll work closely with manufacturing and laboratory teams to support continuous improvement and smooth production processes. The role combines laboratory work, analysis and collaboration to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate holds a chemistry-related degree, is comfortable with lab equipment, and can read procedures

Qualifications

• Higher education in chemistry or related field.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and follow procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of raw materials, intermediates and packaging.
• Perform analyses, record results and implement corrections.
• Approve or reject deliveries of raw materials, packaging and intermediates per Avon procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues related to materials and cosmetics.
• Perform basic analyses and operate laboratory equipment per instructions (IR, viscometer, pH meter, densitometer).
• Monitor processes, collect data and analyze it.
• Oversee measuring and testing equipment.

As a Chemist in our Quality Assurance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that cosmetic formulations meet the highest quality, safety, and production standards. Working closely with manufacturing, laboratory, and cross-functional teams, you'll help maintain product consistency, support continuous improvement, and contribute to the smooth operation of our production processes. Key responsibilities:

• Kontrola jakości surowców, półproduktów oraz opakowań.
• Wykonywanie analiz, rejestrowanie wyników, przeprowadzanie korekt.
• Sprawne zatwierdzanie lub odrzucanie dostaw surowców, opakowań oraz półproduktów, zgodnie z wymogami i procedurami Avon.
• Współpraca z innymi działami w zakresie rozwiązywania problemów jakościowych dotyczących surowców, opakowań i/lub masy kosmetycznej.
• Wykonywanie podstawowy analiz i praca ze sprzętem laboratoryjnym zgodnie z instrukcjami (IR, wiskozymetr, pH metr, gęstościomierz itp.)
• Monitorowanie procesów, zbieranie danych i ich analiza.
• Nadzór nad sprzętem kontrolno-pomiarowym.

What we’re looking for:

• Wykształcenie wyższe chemiczne lub pokrewne
• Dyspozycyjność do pracy w systemie zmianowym, w tym zmiana nocna.
• Umiejętność obsługi sprzętu laboratoryjnego
• Umiejętność rozwiązywania problemów oraz podejmowania decyzji
• Umiejętności pracy w zespole
• Znajomość języka angielskiego umożliwiająca czytanie procedur i instrukcji.
• Znajomość pakietu Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Mile widziana znajomość technik GC, HPLC
