Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków seeks a Chapter Lead Technology Specialist - Analytics to drive the development and operation of HEINEKEN’s Global Cloud product. You will partner with outsourcing teams and internal stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions that enable a data-driven organisation.

The role requires strong cloud strategy skills, stakeholder influence, and an agile mindset. You will mentor analysts and contribute to the design of secure, compliant, scalable infrastructure in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years in a similar role within an international environment; FMCG experience is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, and large-scale IT environments.
  • Experience with outsourced managed services, ITIL-based operations, multi-cloud architecture.
  • Up-to-date certifications (Azure Fundamentals, FinOps Practitioner) preferred.
  • Ability to translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions and high-level designs.
  • Agile delivery experience; Scrum is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; able to communicate complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development and operation of HEINEKEN’s Global Cloud product with partners; ensure 24/7 global presence.
  • Manage relationships and contractual changes with CSP/MSP partners; negotiate to optimize value and reduce debt.
  • Analyse cloud hosting market to propose optimal solution scenarios for business needs.
  • Capture stakeholder needs and translate into user stories, backlog items and infrastructure requirements.
  • Deliver working increments each sprint; estimate complexity and demonstrate outcomes in reviews.
  • Design, implement and manage requirements for Global Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google, Terraform, Aviatrix, Fortinet).
  • Ensure services are reliable, secure, compliant and aligned with HEINEKEN frameworks and security requirements.
  • Monitor performance, availability, cost efficiency and technical quality across Global Cloud deliverables.
  • Support Product Owner and Tribe Leads in converting business needs into specifications.
  • Collaborate with regional hubs, OpCos, application teams and external partners to align solutions.
  • Define Global Cloud operating model, standard ways of working and repeatable adoption practices.
  • Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities; perform root-cause analysis.
  • Stay current with cloud trends; coach team members and stakeholders on best practices.
  • Mentor junior analysts toward cloud certifications and career growth.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • driving the development and operation of HEINEKEN’s Global Cloud product in close collaboration with our outsourcing partners, providing global presence and support 24/7
  • managing the relationships and necessary changes in contractual framework of Global Cloud CSP and MSP partners, support necessary negotiations to optimize value delivered for HEINEKEN and minimize technical debt
  • analysing cloud computing and hosting global market to verify and propose optimal solution scenarios to answer HEINEKEN business needs
  • capturing stakeholder needs and translating them into actionable user stories, backlog items, infrastructure design and configurations requirements
  • delivering working increments each sprint, estimate complexity, and demonstrate outcomes during sprint reviews
  • designing, implementing, and managing requirements for Global Cloud infrastructure (based on Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, HCP Terraform, Aviatrix, and Fortinet technologies)
  • ensuring Global Cloud services are reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned with HEINEKEN frameworks, guidelines, and security requirements
  • creating and updating HEINEKEN Global Cloud and hosting frameworks, guidelines, and security requirements
  • monitoring and optimising performance, availability, reliability, cost efficiency, and technical quality across Global Cloud deliverables
  • supporting the Global Cloud Product Owner, Cloud and Hosting Tribe Lead and Tribe Architect in converting business needs into functional and non-functional specifications
  • partnering with Regional HUBs, OpCos and Application teams and external partners to clarify needs and agree solutions
  • helping define a clear Global Cloud operating model, standard ways of working, and repeatable adoption practices
  • identifying and resolving delivery bottlenecks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities through root‑cause analysis
  • staying current with cloud computing trends, share knowledge and coach team members and stakeholders on Global Cloud practices
  • the development of talent & coaching by mentoring (junior) business analysts on (cloud) business analyses best practices cloud and guide their career growth e.g. toward cloud certifications (Scrum, Cloud Foundations, FinOps) etc
  • conducting regular 1‑on‑1 meetings focusing on individual performance
  • evaluating and assessing performance based on the agreed priorities in delivery and professional development (e.g. reduction of cloud security risks and optimization of cloud spend)
  • delivering continuous feedback on how well product team members collaborate with other product teams, like security and application product teams
  • the hiring & onboarding of specialists and new hires on internal compliance standards, financial processes, and risk mitigation
  • leading a community of practice to standardize cloud analyses best practices
  • promoting a systems and critical thinking culture and mindset
  • advocating for the chapter’s needs, securing budget for cloud governance toolsets and continuous training
  • monitoring employee wellbeing, workload balance, and engagement levels, taking proactive actions when support is required
  • supporting employees through organizational changes, transformations, and new ways of working
  • acting as an escalation point for people‑related topics, conflicts, and development challenges.


You are a good candidate if you have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role within an international environment; FMCG experience is an advantage
  • a strong understanding of the Cloud Adoption Framework, Well‑Architected Framework, large‑scale IT environments, and enterprise architecture
  • experience with outsourced managed services, ITIL‑based operations, multi‑cloud network architecture and cloud computing platforms
  • having up‑to‑date certifications will be advantage (expected to obtain for the role): Azure Fundamentals Certification, FinOps Certified Practitioner
  • the ability to translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions and high‑level architecture designs, policies and guidelines
  • an agile mindset with hands‑on experience in agile delivery; Scrum experience is a plus
  • an ability to take end‑to‑end ownership, work through unclear requirements, lead by example and drive agendas with clear objectives in challenging environments
  • an ability to influence stakeholders on product goals, vision, strategy, and big‑picture thinking
