Job summary

AstraZeneca plc in Warsaw seeks a senior privacy lawyer to provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice on privacy, data protection and governance across Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, translating GDPR and EU requirements into workable safeguards.

You will be the primary privacy adviser for Poland, coordinate DPIA/PIA work, review DPAs and vendor contracts, support AI and analytics initiatives, and drive regional privacy programs with cross‑functional teams and regulatory

Qualifications

Extensive GDPR advisory experience across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills for privacy contracts.
Experience translating complex regulations into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

Provide practical privacy and data-governance advice across four countries.
Lead DPIA/PIA activities and supervise privacy risks and safeguards.
Review DPAs, privacy provisions in vendor contracts and cross-border transfers.
Support AI, analytics and digital-health projects with privacy-by-design considerations.
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance and Global Privacy Office on regulatory matters.
