Job summary

Bain & Company in Warsaw is seeking an Associate Counsel, Privacy to advise on privacy and data protection while supporting privacy processes across the business. You will review and draft data processing agreements, coordinate with Legal and stakeholders, manage privacy requests, and help maintain privacy materials and workflows.

The role requires 1–2 years PQE, English fluency, Polish Bar qualification, and strong drafting and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 1–2 years post-qualification experience in data protection.
• Polish Bar Exam qualification and law degree required.
• Business fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on privacy and data protection matters across the business.
• Review, draft and negotiate data processing agreements and privacy provisions in contracts.
• Coordinate with Legal and other teams to address privacy issues and risk assessments.
• Manage privacy requests from intake through completion, including logging and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain internal privacy materials, guidelines and processes.
