Job summary

AkzoNobel, located in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Cash Collection Junior Specialist with Spanish to join the Invoice to Cash team. You will perform collection and credit management for Italy, support cash applications, and ensure SLA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection and credit management for Italy scope of trade receivables.
• Manage credit control activities and order release processes; follow dispute management.
• Support cash management with cash applications aligned to SLAs.
• Provide risk insights to senior management based on data and factors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Services, Record-to-Report, and Invoice-to-Pay teams.
• Produce monthly/weekly/daily figures for aged debt analysis and I2C reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Performing the collection and credit management activities for Italy scope of trade receivables.
• Managing credit control activities - setting up credit limits for customers, managing order release process, following the dispute management process.
• Supporting cash management - cash applications processes based on bank statements to ensure compliance with our SLAs.
• Providing reliable and well-documented risk advice to senior management and the sales department based on accurate assessment and evaluation of all appropriate internal and external factors and objectives.
• Liaising with country Sales Management, Customer Services, Record-to-Report, Invoice-to-Pay teams and other management as appropriate.
• Production of monthly /weekly/ daily figures for the analysis of aged debt and other relevant I2C reports to the business stakeholders.
• Taking an active part in "Invoice to Cash" process improvement projects.
