Job summary

TP in Kraków is seeking a Card Dispute Specialist to gain hands-on experience in card dispute handling, fraud-related processes, and customer support across Europe. You will work closely with colleagues in an international environment and participate in ongoing training to understand regulations and procedures.

The role requires bilingual Danish and English communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage customer requests professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preliminary handling of card dispute cases.
  • Support customers to minimize losses related to third‑party card fraud.
  • Assist senior specialists with complex cases and administrative tasks.
  • Translate local language communications to English.
  • Document operational processes and related documents.
  • Communicate with customers via email or phone per KPIs/SLAs.
  • Report incidents and maintain compliance in all actions.
  • Document work accurately in IT systems with four-eye checks when needed.
  • Develop knowledge of Visa and Mastercard rules and customer agreements.
  • Participate in ongoing training on regulations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Fraud, Legal, and external partners.
  • Take on ad‑hoc tasks and cross‑department projects as needed.

As a Card Dispute Specialist, you will gain hands‑on experience in card dispute handling, fraud‑related processes, and customer support while working closely with colleagues across Europe.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preliminary handling of card dispute cases, focusing on straightforward cases, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), utilizing dedicated IT tools and systems integral to work processes.
  • Support customers in minimizing losses in connection to third‑party fraud with payment cards.
  • Assist Senior Card Dispute Specialists with more complex cases and administrative tasks, such as managing errors, performing corrections, and investigating root causes.
  • Translate local language communications to English.
  • Produce documentation of operational process descriptions and other related documents.
  • Communicate with customers via email and/or telephone in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Report incidents in your area and maintain compliance in all actions.
  • Document work accurately in various IT systems, maintaining the four‑eye principle where necessary.
  • Develop basic knowledge of the service environment, including card scheme rules (both Visa and Mastercard) and customer (issuer) agreements.
  • Receive ongoing training to understand regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Customer Service, Fraud, and Legal teams, as well as external partners and vendors.
  • Cooperate with colleagues, assist with ad hoc tasks, or perform any other functions requested by management.
  • Participate in agreed (cross‑departmental) projects and development tasks as determined by the manager.
  • Exemplify and uphold the company’s values and behaviors.
Our requirements:
  • Fluent in Danish and English (minimum B2 level in both written and spoken communication).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify potential risks and issues.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to clearly explain decisions and reasoning to customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience handling customer requests and administrative tasks in a professional, positive, and efficient manner.
  • Ability to manage sensitive customer issues with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with a focus on operational excellence.
Nice to have:
  • Experience within the financial services sector will be considered an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of card payment processes, including authorization, clearing, and settlement, will be considered an advantage.
  • Educational background in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.

  • Employment contract with a salary range of 9500 - 11000 PLN gross per month.
  • Hybrid work model based in Kraków (minimum 3 days per week in the office). Office location: Wielicka 20, Kraków, Poland.
