Job summary

Talan seeks a Calypso Business Analyst to join a new Capital Markets team in Wrocław, on-site with hybrid options. You will bridge business and tech, translating requirements and driving Calypso enhancements for core markets operations.

You will collaborate across Front/Middle/Back Office, Risk and Operations, shaping functional specs and user stories while supporting testing, deployments, and process improvements. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience in financial services.
• Hands-on Calypso platform experience.
• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle.
• Experience gathering and documenting functional/business requirements.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Calypso.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Operations teams.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Participate in design and implementation of Calypso enhancements and new functionalities.
• Support incident analysis and resolution in cooperation with technical teams.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Assist with testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and production validation.
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives across Capital Markets operations.
• Support system upgrades, releases, and platform transformation projects.
