Job summary

Talan is seeking a Calypso Business Analyst to join a new team supporting the Capital Markets ecosystem for a major European bank. Based in Wrocław, Poland, the role is hybrid with relocation options and long-term stability.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, collaborate with Front, Middle and Back Office teams, participate in design, testing, and upgrades, and help optimize trading and risk processes. Strong English required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Experience with the Calypso platform.
• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets and trade lifecycles.
• Experience gathering functional and business requirements.
• Ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Front/Mood Office workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English skills (C1).

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document Calypso-related requirements.
• Collaborate with Front, Middle, Back Office, Risk, and Operations teams.
• Translate needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Participate in design and implementation of Calypso enhancements.
• Support incident analysis with technical teams.
• Facilitate communication between business and development teams.
• Assist with testing activities, incl. SIT and UAT.
• Contribute to process optimization across Capital Markets.
• Support system upgrades and platform transformation projects.
