Job summary

Accenture in Poland is seeking a senior software engineer to join a team developing a large open-source LLVM-based compiler for modern C++ applications.

You will contribute to a complex software stack for heterogeneous computing, investigate issues reported by the open-source community, and deliver production-quality solutions to the upstream codebase. Strong ownership and English/Polish communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in commercial software development with C++ (17+).
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience developing software on Linux and/or Windows.
• Practical debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and work effectively with large codebases.
• Experience with Git, CMake, GitHub Workflows.
• Excellent communication in English and Polish.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in commercial software development with C++ and strong expertise in modern C++ (17+).
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience developing software on Linux and/or Windows.
• Practical debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and work effectivly with existing, large codebases.
• Experience with Git, CMake, GitHub Workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.
• Strong sense of ownership, with a proactive approach to identifying problems, investigating their root causes, and driving solutions to completion.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and work across different areas of the software stack.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience with LLVM or compiler development.
• Experience with SYCL, CUDA, HIP, OpenCL, or other heterogeneous computing technologies.
• Knowledge of compiler architecture, toolchains, or programming language implementation.
• Experience with multithreaded or concurrent programming.
• Experience with low-level or system programming.
• Contribution to open-source or personal projects (GitHub portfolio)
