Job summary

Accenture Poland is seeking a skilled IBM Mainframe developer to maintain and modernize critical banking applications. You will work with COBOL, JCL, CICS, z/OS and DB2 across international teams, focusing on performance improvements and enabling AI-assisted upgrades.

Expect a mix of remote and onsite collaboration with opportunities for mentoring junior staff and continuous professional growth in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in development and maintenance of IBM Mainframe applications.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Practical experience with DB2 databases, SQL development, query optimization, and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design and implement technical solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing existing applications.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.

THE WORK

• Develop and maintain strategic IBM Mainframe applications supporting critical business processes in the banking sector while demonstrating a commitment to constant progress and high-quality delivery.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
