Randstad Polska Sp. z oo in Wrocław is seeking a Buyer MRO to strengthen our purchasing team. You will ensure smooth procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost efficiencies while collaborating with international teams.

The role includes occasional travel across Europe and a hybrid work setup. The ideal candidate has proven experience in operational purchasing, SAP proficiency, and English at B2+ level. German is a strong asset.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in operational purchasing activities (PR-PO process, invoice workflow, claims).
• Proficient in SAP and MS Excel for daily tasks.
• English at least B2+ level; German is a strong asset.
• Basic technical understanding including industrial mechanics and drawings.
• Strong communication/negotiation skills with cost-awareness.
• Willingness to travel for business when required.

Aufgaben

• Execute on-time procurement activities (PR, PO, frame orders, order confirmations, invoice workflow, claims) with local stakeholders.
• Perform operative sourcing tasks in SAP/Ariba and coordinate with sourcing categories.
• Conduct tenders and supplier comparisons to realize savings and negotiate improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor service quality against agreed standards.
• Create and harmonize material and vendor master data.
• Verify invoices, resolve issues, and handle claims with mill operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement to boost efficiency.
• Support implementation of new processes and digital solutions.

Our client is a well-established, international manufacturing company producing innovative industrial materials and solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of purchasing activities, negotiating with key suppliers, and driving real cost-efficiencies. What’s more, you will have the opportunity for occasional business travel across Europe, collaborating face-to-face with international teams and visiting production sites

What will your tasks involve?

• proceed with on-time procurement (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Frame Orders, Order Confirmations, Invoice Workflow, Claims) in close collaboration with local stakeholders;
• execute operative sourcing tasks in SAP/Ariba and work closely with sourcing categories;
• conduct tenders and supplier comparisons to achieve savings by identifying alternatives and actively negotiating;
• manage supplier relationships, monitor service improvement, and ensure agreed quality standards are met;
• create and harmonize material & vendor master data;
• verify invoices, resolve issue cases, and handle claims with mill operations;
• identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency;
• support the implementation of new processes & digital solutions.

What we expect from you?

you have proven experience in operational purchasing activities (PR-PO process, invoice workflow, claims);

you possess a solid knowledge of SAP and are highly skilled in MS Excel;

your English is at least at a B2+ level (knowledge of German would be a strong asset);

you have a basic technical understanding, including knowledge of industrial mechanics and technical drawings;

you demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a high level of cost awareness;

you are open-minded, proactive, and willing to travel for business purposes.
