Job summary

British American Tobacco Polska Trading sp. z o.o. in Warsaw seeks a Business Insights Executive to analyze data from multiple sources, derive holistic market insights, and forecast future outlook to shape product portfolio, distribution, and pricing.

The role focuses on connecting data sources, providing actionable recommendations, and presenting findings to Senior Management, with opportunities for growth and cross-functional collaboration within BAT.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in FMCG in a similar role
• Experience analyzing large data sets and summarizing results clearly
• Ability to connect data sources to create a holistic market view
• Curious to understand drivers behind the numbers
• Confident presenting recommendations to Senior Management
• Fluent in preparing PowerPoint presentations

British American Tobacco POLAND has an exciting opportunity for a Business Insights Executive in WARSAW

In this role you will be responsible for analysing and connecting data from different sources to provide holistic understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and categories performance drivers. You will then use it as a base for forecasting future outlook of the business. We are consumer centric company.

The insights that you will provide to the business will serve as a base for our strategy and actions when it comes to the shape of our product portfolio, distribution and pricing.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• monitoring competitive landscape
• providing insights on market trends, consumer behaviours and building recommendations for product, distribution and pricing strategy across multiple categories
• analysing sales data from multiple sources (internal and external, i.e. Nielsen Retail Audit data, consumer research, Tracking, desk research)
• reporting BAT key brands performance, incl. future outlook based on trends observed
• monitoring effectiveness of activities ran by Marketing teams and providing recommendations for further improvement of those

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years' experience in similar position in another FMCG company/ agency
• experience in analyzing large sets of data and summarizing the outcomes in short & simple way
• able to connect the information/ insights from different data sources to build holistic view on the market
• curious and eager to understand the drivers / "reason why" behind the numbers you are seeing
• using past and current data to project the outlook on the market and categories
• confident to present your recommendations to Senior Management
• fluent in preparing power point presentations that can convey insights in a short, compelling way
• team player, open for cross-functional work
