Job summary

British American Tobacco Poland is seeking a Cyber Security Assurance Automation and Data Analytics specialist in Warsaw to design controls assurance automation and lead operational activities to improve maturity of cyber security compliance across BAT.

You will analyze data, build real-time exception reports and KPIs, and work on Cloud security controls with a focus on Azure. The role emphasizes automation, regulatory alignment, and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

• Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fields.

Responsibilities

• Part of team creating and operating Global Digital / technology compliance of BAT: external (PCI-DSS, SWIFT, NIS2, GDPR/CCPA) and internal cyber security policies and standards.
• Design and implement solutions of controls assurance / monitoring automation; identify, correlate and analyze data from various sources, design and build exception reports, KPIs/KRIs, and continuous controls assessment / monitoring, to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the digital / IT security assurance & regulatory compliance framework; find opportunities to improve risk and compliance reporting processes.
• Conduct digital / IT security compliance assessments of BAT existing solutions and infrastructure, to identify potential risks that could impact the organization.

British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Assurance Automation and Data Analytics in Warsaw

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated new members of our Global Cyber Security Digital Compliance & Assurance Team.

This pivotal role will be responsible for designing controls assurance automation and leading operational activities, to improve maturity of our cyber security compliance requirements identification, definition and management, third party cyber risk identification and mitigation.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in technology risk assessment, controls design, assurance and its automation, some previous experience in Cloud and application cyber security controls.

Beneficial would also be experience with data processing, correlation and analytics, simple data tools and automation design, like Power BI, Python programming, AI tools build.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Being part of team creating and operating Global Digital / technology compliance of BAT: both external (e.g. PCI-DSS, SWIFT, NIS2, GDPR/CCPA) and internal –cyber security policies and standards. Providing requirements and posture summary of cyber security maturity as well as compliance with applicable regulations.
• Design and implement solutions of controls assurance / monitoring automation. Identify, corelate and analyze data from various sources, design and build exception reports, KPIs/KRIs, and continuous controls assessment / monitoring, to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the digital / IT security assurance & regulatory compliance framework. Find opportunities to improve risk and compliance reporting processes.
• Conduct digital / IT security compliance assessments of BAT existing solutions and infrastructure, to identify potential risks that could impact the organization.

What are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fields.
• Hands on experience in roles related to cyber security controls design/implementation/assessment/automation or cyber security/IT administration including controls ownership and assessment.
• Experience in IT controls, compliance and / or risk assessments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates have also a solid foundation in mathematics, essential for mastering AI technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to report findings and influence business and IT stakeholders. Ability to translate & relate complex cyber concepts into clear recommendations and actions.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting, controls assurance automation tools.
• Some experience in Cloud security and controls, with a preference for Microsoft Azure. Understanding of AI/ML concepts.
• Tech-Savvy Enthusiast: Knowledge of computer skills, along with a genuine interest in controls automation and data analytics, eagerness to explore and work with AI, driven by curiosity and a desire to innovate. Beneficial would be additionally some experience with programming and building simple tools: python, Power BI, etc..
• Positive Attitude: We're seeking individuals with a proactive mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for learning and growth. Great teammate, thinking E2E about impact of proposed actions and solutions, including impact on others. Effective conflict resolution skills.
