Job summary

Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is seeking a Business Continuity Analyst to support the setup and operation of the BCM and Crisis Management framework across the EMEA region.

You will work with regional teams to document processes, analyze BIA data, monitor controls and tests, and prepare materials for Operational Risk Committees, contributing to resilience in a complex financial environment.

Qualifications

• Economics-related university degree.
• Experience in business continuity and crisis management, ideally in financial services.
• Understanding of BCM in complex organizations.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with diverse data sources.
• Clear English and ability to work in an international environment.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Resilience and Crisis Management processes with the EMEA teams.
• Assist branches in EMEA with BCM documentation.
• Conduct BIA data analysis and support data completion.
• Monitor Level 1 controls dashboard and coordinate with BCM correspondents.
• Track BCM tests and follow up on deployment action plans.
• Prepare data packs and presentations for Operational Risk Committees.

Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is currently looking for a Business Continuity Analyst. You will support the setup and operational management of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework for Société Générale wholesale banking entities across the EMEA region.

• Supporting coordination of Resilience and Crisis Management processes in the EMEA region in cooperation with the EMEA Control & Operational Risk Officer and the Crisis and Business Continuity Coordinator in EMEA


• Assisting serviced branches in EMEA with the definition and implementation of their Resilience and Crisis Management documentation


• Conducting BIA data analysis, supporting data completion, and assisting Business Continuity Management Correspondents by explaining the tool, process, and methodology


• Monitoring the Level 1 controls dashboard and coordinating with local BCM Correspondents when actions need to be completed on their side


• Monitoring the completion of Business Continuity and Crisis Management tests and following up on deployment action plans


• Preparing data packs and presentations for EMEA branches' Operational Risk Committees and other meetings held for the EMEA Resilience and Crisis Management community

Profile required

• You hold an economics-related university degree


• You have experience in a position related to business continuity and crisis management, ideally within financial services


• You possess an understanding of business continuity management in complex organizations


• You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable working with diverse data sources


• You communicate clearly in English and work confidently in an international environment


• You possess strong analytical skills, demonstrate a proactive approach, and pay close attention to detail
