Job summary

International sensor company in Poland is seeking a Business Application Specialist ERP to be the main ERP support contact. You will provide technical and functional support, focusing on application administration, troubleshooting, configuration, integrations, release coordination, and continuous improvement.

The role bridges technical understanding with business process insight, offering growth in a dynamic, multinational environment with hybrid work and periodic office visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Understanding of business processes within manufacturing, supply chain, or finance environments
• Basic knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, Windows/Linux environments, and SQL Server
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure domains
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to identify next steps, manage tasks/backlog, and communicate blockers with limited supervision
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a multicultural, technology-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ERP incidents, service requests, and improvement initiatives to resolution and testing
• Maintain support documentation including tickets, configurations, guides, and FAQs
• Assist with ERP administration: user access, configuration, release coordination, testing, rollout, continuous improvement
• Support administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure and databases
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, business users, and external partners to ensure availability and security
• Support end-user training by preparing materials and guiding on ERP functionalities
• Communicate clearly in English with local and international stakeholders

Job description

• As a Business Application Specialist ERP, you will be the primary point of contact for ERP-related support in our Poland office. You will provide technical and functional support for our ERP landscape, with a particular focus on application administration, troubleshooting, configuration, integrations, release and continuous improvement. This role bridges technical understanding with business process insight, making it ideal for someone eager to grow in a dynamic, multinational environment.

• Location: Bielsko-Biała (hybrid work model with mandatory office visits 1- 2 days every month)
• Cooperation model: Employment contract
• Recruitment process: 2-3 online interviews

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical and functional ERP incidents, service requests and improvement initiatives, from initial investigation through resolution, testing and implementation, escalating to external partners or vendors when required
• Maintain support documentation, including tickets, configuration changes, user guides, and FAQs
• Assist with ERP administration, including user access management, system configuration, release coordination, implementation, testing, rollout, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of server infrastructure and database environments related to business applications, including configuration, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, application teams, Key Users, Business Process Managers, and external technology partners to ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems
• Support end-user training by preparing materials, providing guidance on application functionalities, and facilitating knowledge transfer
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English with local and international stakeholders

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable understanding of business processes within manufacturing, supply chain, or finance environments
• Basic knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, Windows/Linux environments, and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure domains
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to identify next steps, manage assigned tasks and backlog items, follow up actions, and communicate blockers proactively with limited supervision
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a multicultural, technology-driven environment

Optional

• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as IFS, SAP, or similar solutions
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow
• Familiarity with documentation and knowledge management tools such as Confluence or SharePoint
• Exposure to user training, onboarding, or knowledge transfer activities
