Job summary

Sollers Consulting is seeking a professional to join our consulting or implementation teams on IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies. You will analyze business needs, define functional requirements, test solutions, and support UATs while collaborating closely with developers and IT architects.

You will work in an Agile setting, take ownership of topics, and have opportunities to grow through a training budget, coaching, and international client exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, IT, or related field.
• Proficient in English with C1 level.
• German knowledge at B2/C1 level.
• Experience in IT projects for the financial sector (insurance/bancassurance preferred).
• Familiar with agile methodologies.
• Eligible to work in Poland and EU on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and define functional requirements for IT projects.

• Collaborate daily with software developers and IT architects.
• Take ownership in an Agile team and contribute to project delivery.

About the role. You will:

• Be a part of consulting or implementation team during IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies.
• Conduct business analysis, define functional requirements, and test developed solutions and support UATs.
• Work closely with software developers and IT architects on a daily basis.
• Test yourself in various roles performing varied tasks in an international environment.
• Be an active member of an Agile team, taking ownership for your topics.

About the requirements. You need:

• First experience in IT projects for the financial sector, preferably insurance or bancassurance.
• At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business, economics, IT, or similar fields.
• Great command of English language, being fully confident collaborating with English native speakers (at least C1 level).
• Very good knowledge of German (at least B2/C1 level.
• Understanding agile ways of working.
• Proven ability to apply both intuitive and analytical reasoning to approach complex problems.
• To be able to work in Poland and the European Union on a full-time basis.

About the wishes. Nice to haves:

• Understanding of insurance processes.
• Familiarity with SDLC.
• Experience working in fintech, consulting, implementation, or IT company, especially in the fields of insurance or bancassurance.
• Experience applying agile frameworks in practice (e.g. Scrum), including agile scaling frameworks (e.g. LeSS, Nexus, SAFe, etc).
• Fluency in French.
• While having the main office in Poland, you want to work with our Clients abroad, traveling up to 50% of your work time.
