Job summary

GloPros in Chennai seeks an O2C process owner to lead day-to-day order management and embed ownership into the S/4HANA Release 6 team. You will translate operational needs into functional requirements and support testing in a global setting.

The role requires collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain across regions, plus documenting ownership and known issues. English proficiency and ability to work on-site in Chennai (3 days/week) are essential.

Job description

You will own and run day-to-day operational activities for the Order-to-Cash order management sub-stream and embed process ownership into the S/4HANA release 6 functional team, at a tech company in the Food & Beverage Services sector. You will work closely with the S/4HANA functional leads and report to the O2C stream manager or Global Process Owner. A success looks like: (1) the order management operational duties are fully transitioned and documented with stable SLAs; and (2) the release 6 changes are adopted by local commercial and O2C teams with reduced incidents.

The company builds and operates technology solutions for the sector and is progressing an S/4HANA transformation; this role exists to transfer operational order-management responsibilities into the functional team and to provide embedded process expertise during release 6.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day operational activities for the order management sub-stream in O2C, ensuring continuity and adherence to process SLAs.
• Act as the process-focused analyst embedded with the S/4HANA release 6 team, translating operational needs into functional requirements and supporting testing/validation.
• Serve as the primary process contact for local O2C and commercial teams across regions, resolving process queries and aligning regional approaches.
• Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure order-to-cash process integrity across the end-to-end flow.
• Capture and document process ownership, handoffs and known issues; support the team as a potential country SME where required.

What you bring

• Demonstrable experience in Order-to-Cash with a strong focus on order management (process ownership, day-to-day operations).
• Practical experience working with S/4HANA; experience with Fiori interfaces is preferred. GUI/ECC experience is a plus.
• Experience operating in a global, matrixed organisation and managing multiple regional stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with Finance and Supply Chain functions to align process and system changes.
• Able to start on short notice and commit to a contract role based in Chennai with in-person collaboration (3 days/week).
• English language proficiency for cross-regional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to CRM or Salesforce integrations impacting order management.
• Experience acting as an SME for specific countries or regions within O2C.
