Job summary

Based in Warsaw, Frontex is seeking a SNE in the Capacity and Readiness Unit to support vulnerability assessments, data collection schemes, and border-management capabilities.

The role reports to the Head of Unit and involves preparing assessments, reports, and briefings for Member States and Schengen associated countries, with a focus on e-gates, Self-Service Systems and EES implementation, plus regular collaboration with other teams and units.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the implementation of data collection schemes for vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor and analyse MS/SAC technical equipment, capabilities, and staff needs for border control.
• Prepare vulnerability assessments, reports, briefing notes, and responses for MS/SAC.
• Coordinate monitoring and implementation of recommendations after assessments.
• Support the Vulnerability Assessment Network, organise meetings and workshops.
• Engage with colleagues across teams to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in developing the Common Vulnerability Assessment methodology.
• Provide counsel to team leaders and Head of Unit.
• Occasionally undertake missions to MS/SAC to carry out duties.
