Job summary

Frontex is seeking an ICT Infrastructure Architect, Advanced, in Warsaw with a 40% on-site and 60% remote setup. The role covers on-premises and hybrid architecture, Kubernetes, Windows and Linux platforms, and ITILv4 practice.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in relevant roles and a Master’s degree, plus required EU security clearance. The mission spans 48 months with a flexible rate, dependent on level and European public grading.

Qualifications

• Has led architect roles in the migration of at least two enterprise-wide ICT systems.
• Expert in hybrid systems architecture for core ICT infrastructure.
• Excellent knowledge of designing enterprise-level ICT systems and interfaces.

ICT Infrastructure Architect, Advanced (Warsaw, 60% remote) – Frontex

Profile:

ICT Infrastructure Architect (IARCH). ICT Core Infrastructure, On-premises and hybrid architecture, Kubernetes, Windows, Linux platforms, RHOS - Level Advanced.

Place of performance:

service provision at Frontex Headquarters in Warsaw – 40% on-site, 60 % remote.

Duration of the mission:

48 months.

Security Clearance:

Is required (required from day 45 of assignment) -CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL.

Minimum level of education:

Level 7 (Master´s Degree required).

Minimum English language skills:

B2.

Minimum IT relevant experience:

8 years (5 years in relevant roles).

Rate:

Flexible. The rate offered depends on the candidate’s level, in accordance with the European public grading system. Further details are available upon discussion.

• NWH: 220 days x 4 years.

Required Technical Certificates

At least 2 certifications among:

• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Red Hat® Certified Architect (RHCA).
• Iasa Architect CITA-A.
• Or for any listed above, an equivalent alternative certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority).

Knowledge And Skills

Knowledge:

• Has performed role of key architect in development of at least 2 enterprise-wide ICT systems migration and core ITC systems deployment.
• Expert in hybrid systems architecting in the relevant domain.
• Expert in designing enterprise level core ICT systems and solutions.
• Expert in planning capacity and security of the integration platform capabilities.
• Familiar with virtualization, containerization, on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Holds excellent technical knowledge about: Identity Management and Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre, databases, application servers, monitoring for systems and applications, middleware, modern workplace solutions, cloud integration patterns, cloud migration framework, systems integration, Software and asset management.
• Sound knowledge in designing systems in UML.
• Familiar with ICT process design and implementation according to ITILv4.
• Is proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others.
• Familiar with DevSecOps approach.
• Familiar with market wide designing architecture standards or frameworks such as, TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar.
