Job summary

Ryvu Therapeutics in Kraków seeks a Biologist/Biotechnologist to establish and characterize patient-derived cellular models. You will balance hands-on laboratory work with conceptual scientific development and own assigned tasks.

Responsibilities include 2D/3D cell-based assays, mammalian cell culture, and techniques like ELISA, Western blot, qPCR, and flow cytometry. Strong English and independent work skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field with 2+ years of experience, or PhD.
• Cancer biology experience is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in developing 2D and 3D cell-based assays.
• Hands-on mammalian cell culture including patient-derived/organoid models is a plus; standard molecular biology techniques include ELISA, Western blot, qPCR, and flow cytometry.
• Experience with medium-throughput cell-based assays in microplate formats.

Responsibilities

• Establishment and maintenance of primary cell cultures.
• Design and execution of complex experiments (e.g., CRISPR screens, target validation, pharmacology assays).
• Biological data interpretation and scientific conclusion drawing.
• Development and implementation of new research methods and protocols.
• Regular presentation of results in internal meetings and project reviews.
