Zydus Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to design, develop and implement biological systems and medical devices, perform safety testing, and support clinical staff in maintenance of equipment.

The role involves installation, documentation, and preventive maintenance, collaboration with clinicians and engineers, and ensuring equipment safety and compliance across hospital departments.

Responsabilités

• Install and maintain biomedical equipment with routine and complex tasks.
• Provide first-hand support during equipment breakdowns or urgent needs.
• Document maintenance actions, repairs and equipment history.
• Assist in capital equipment planning and replacement decisions.
• Ensure incoming equipment is inspected per policy and standards.
• Notify departments about repair status and coordinate loaner equipment.
• Perform safety tests on biomedical instrumentation and record results.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Work with clinical staff to ensure proper use and safety of equipment.
