Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent education required.
• At least 3 years of experimental laboratory experience preferred.
• Proven scientific achievements in biocatalysis/organic chemistry/biotechnology (2+ peer-reviewed articles).
• Knowledge of biocatalytic processes, solvents (ILs/DES) and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients via biocatalysis.
• Apply ionic liquids or deep eutectic solvents for API synthesis.
• Optimize process conditions to reduce organic solvent use and improve efficiency.
