Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Gdansk, Poland, is seeking a BIM/VDC Engineer to coordinate digital project delivery. You will manage 3D models, BIM processes, project data, and 4D planning to support efficient execution on a high-profile nuclear project.

You will collaborate with engineering, controls, procurement, and construction teams, implement BIM standards, and support data-driven decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years’ experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with 7+ years’ experience.
• Experience with 4D planning and BIM is required.
• Background in digital delivery and data-driven project execution.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Bechtel’s VDC strategy and contribute to digital project delivery.
• Develop and maintain 4D construction simulations by integrating 3D models with schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement and Construction for alignment.
• Support development of digital solution work packages to improve planning.
• Promote BIM/VDC adoption and provide training to teams when needed.
• Develop dashboards and reports to enable data-driven decisions.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation.
• Ensure project information is managed in the CDE per ISO 19650 and Bechtel standards.
• Support digital models used for construction planning and execution.
