Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Gdansk, Poland, seeks a BIM/VDC Engineer to coordinate digital project delivery, manage 3D models, BIM processes, and 4D planning to support efficient execution. You will work with engineering, procurement, construction teams, implement BIM standards, PIM, and data-driven delivery, leveraging tools like Revit, AutoCAD, Power BI to enable integrated project information.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years of BIM/VDC experience, or equivalent work history.
Experience with 4D planning and digital delivery standards.
Strong knowledge of design models, schedules, and data integration.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of Bechtel's Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) strategy and contribute to the successful digital delivery of the project.
Develop and maintain 4D construction simulations by integrating 3D engineering models with project schedules to visualize construction sequencing and project progress.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure alignment between design, schedule, and execution activities.
Support the development of construction work packages and digital solutions that improve project planning and delivery.
Promote the use of BIM, VDC, and digital engineering tools across the project and provide training and guidance to project teams where required.
Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that help teams make informed, data-driven decisions.
Identify and implement opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and digital transformation throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure project information is managed effectively within the Common Data Environment (CDE) and complies with client requirements, Bechtel standards, and industry best practices, including ISO 19650.
Support the development and maintenance of digital models used for construction planning, sequencing, and execution.
