Job summary
AFRY is seeking a Structural Engineer for BIM modeling to work on projects in Sweden. You will develop structural models in Tekla and Revit, collaborating with architects and engineers to optimize designs and ensure code compliance.
Qualifications include a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and 3+ years of building design experience, with strong English communication and a team-oriented mindset. Hybrid work arrangement available.
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in structural design for buildings.
- High proficiency in modelling and drawing production in Tekla and Revit.
- Experience with Tekla Model Sharing or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Set up and create structural models in Tekla and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to optimize building designs.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Report and follow up on own progress and budget.
