Job summary

Swap is seeking a finance-oriented professional to own billing operations during an 18-month tour of duty. You’ll rebuild billing workflows with automation and AI, partnering with the CFO and aiming to move into another finance, strategy, or product role as you grow.

You’ll start by mapping end-to-end billing, reducing manual steps, and implementing new tools. Strong analytical skills and a curiosity for AI will help you succeed at every stage.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to understand complex processes and data.
• Instinctive process thinking: you redesign manual workflows.
• Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills with large datasets.
• Hands-on curiosity about AI and automation with tangible examples.
• Precise data handling and ownership of numbers.

Responsibilities

• Map billing and onboarding workflows end to end and redesign slow, manual steps.
• Lead implementation and testing of new billing tools replacing spreadsheets.
• Build AI and automation into billing, reconciliations, and exception detection.
• Create reporting and data checks for visibility of billing accuracy.
• Own Finance onboarding for new customers: billing setup and Direct Debit.
• Prepare and review shipping billing and fix root causes.
• Run reconciliations, first-invoice reviews, and exception investigations.
• Support customer terminations with Credit Control.
