Job summary

Stadler is seeking a detail-oriented technical writer to create, maintain, and verify manuals, specifications, and assembly instructions in English (Polish optional). You will work closely with engineering, production, quality, and service teams to gather precise information and ensure compliance with IEC, ISO, and EN standards.

You will manage the document lifecycle, support procurement input, and drive continuous improvement of workflows and tools within a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in technology and ability to read, understand, and create precise documents.
• Fluent English (C1) with formal, precise technical writing style.
• Polish proficiency.
• Experience with technical documentation (electronics or mechatronics preferred).
• Knowledge of standards and norms for documentation creation (IEC, ISO, EN).
• Colleges: Electrical/Mechanical/Railway Engineering or related field.
• German language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, edit, and verify technical documentation in English (Polish optional).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and service teams to gather information.
• Edit and structure content per industry standards and internal quality requirements.
• Participate in documentation reviews and implement corrections.
• Contribute to development and optimization of documentation processes.
• Manage document lifecycle: revisions, numbering, permissions, and workflows.
• Maintain document control and archive superseded revisions for traceability.
• Support procurement activities with documentation input and design guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation workflows, tools, and standards.
