Adform Sp. z o.o. is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Big Data Group in Warsaw.

You will oversee two teams responsible for processing, storing, and delivering meaningful information within Adform Flow and to external clients. You will work with Product Managers, the Product Director, and Architects to ensure delivery aligns with the roadmap and technical direction. The role focuses on people management, delivery outcomes, and stakeholder alignment, with emphasis on operational excellence

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in managing backend or cross-functional engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to align engineers, product, and business stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering projects with agile practices, prioritisation, and balancing short- vs. long-term goals.
• Ability to mentor and grow engineers, fostering career development and high performance.
• Solid understanding of engineering best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making with technical depth and business impact.
• Track record of driving operational excellence in performance, reliability, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two Big Data teams, ensuring delivery against roadmap.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Product Director, and Architects on technical direction.
• Align teams with organisational goals and drive high performance.
• Own system reliability, performance, and monitoring; manage incidents and RCA.
• Refine team processes (agile, CI/CD, testing) to boost productivity and quality.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs with leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to support scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
