Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead to establish and lead a Data Migration Factory within a global One ERP transformation programme.

The Factory will deliver migration of business data to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), creating a scalable, repeatable approach across global rollouts. You will define the operating model, set standards and guide teams through the end-to-end migration lifecycle.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Lead to establish and lead a Data Migration Factory within a global One ERP transformation programme.

The Factory will play a key role in delivering the migration of business data to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), creating a scalable, standardised and repeatable approach to data migration across multiple global rollouts.

This is a leadership-focused role combining data migration expertise, technical direction, delivery leadership and stakeholder management. You will take ownership of the Factory’s development, define its operating model, establish standards and guide specialists and project teams through the end-to-end data migration lifecycle.

Working closely with international Data Migration, ERP, Data and Architecture teams, you will help ensure that migration activities are delivered consistently, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The role

As Technical Project Lead, you will drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Data Migration Factory, taking responsibility for the technical approach, delivery framework and coordination of migration activities across the programme.

You will provide direction to data migration specialists, align technical solutions with programme objectives and ensure that best practices are embedded across the full migration lifecycle:

Microsoft Fabric will be a key technology within the Factory, alongside established data engineering and transformation tools. Previous experience with a specific platform is less important than your ability to lead complex data migration initiatives and establish effective, repeatable delivery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Data Migration Factory, defining its technical direction, delivery approach, processes and standards.
• Drive data migration delivery across D365 F&O implementation projects, coordinating activities, dependencies, priorities and deliverables.
• Establish a scalable and repeatable migration framework, including standardised ETL/ELT processes, reusable workflows and migration templates.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Data Migration Specialists, promoting knowledge sharing, consistency and continuous improvement.
• Own the end-to-end migration approach, covering data extraction, mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation and loading.
• Define and embed data quality controls, governance practices and migration readiness criteria to minimise risk and ensure reliable outcomes.
• Collaborate with ERP, Data, Architecture and business stakeholders to translate programme requirements into effective migration solutions.
• Support the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and relevant data engineering technologies within the Factory.
• Identify delivery risks, resolve technical challenges and drive improvements in migration efficiency, quality and repeatability.
• Contribute to planning, estimation, progress tracking and stakeholder reporting across migration workstreams.
• Build a strong, collaborative delivery environment that enables teams to work effectively across countries, functions and project phases.

What you bring

• Proven experience leading data migration projects or workstreams, ideally within large-scale ERP implementations or transformation programmes.
• A strong understanding of the end-to-end data migration lifecycle, including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation and loading.
• Experience establishing or improving data migration frameworks, methodologies, standards or delivery processes.
• Demonstrable technical leadership experience, with the ability to guide specialists, coordinate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure or comparable data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT concepts and data transformation techniques.
• Experience working with complex enterprise data and managing data quality, migration risks and reconciliation requirements.
• Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across international teams.
• A structured, delivery-oriented mindset and the ability to balance technical detail with programme-level priorities.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or Dynamics AX implementations.
• Data Management Framework (DMF), Data Entities and D365 migration tooling.
• Experience in a global ERP transformation programme or a multi-country rollout.
• Familiarity with data architecture, migration governance and enterprise data management practices.
