BI Analytics Intern — Power BI & SQL (Part-Time)

Job summary

AXA XL in Wrocław, Poland, seeks a BI Analyst to act as the BI contact for delegated data sources and to support reporting for the Delegated Business. You will train team members and participate as a Data Team consultant on the Strategic Delegated Review project.

You will work with SQL data sources, create visualizations, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to improve reporting capabilities and data storytelling.

Qualifications

• SQL skills using MS-SQL Server Management Studio.
• Power BI skills including Power BI Desktop, Power Query and Power BI Service.
• Ability to visualize data for effective storytelling.
• Availability to work minimum 20 hours per week.
• Very good English (minimum B2).
• Reliable, proactive, and takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work with different data sources to obtain required data.
• Present extracted data using data visualization tools.
• Liaise with internal teams such as ESS, Middle Office, Underwriting and Claims.
• Liaise with stakeholders on reporting and requirements gathering process.
• Adopt innovative approaches to problem solving.
• Drive process and operating efficiencies through continuous improvement.
• Work to fluid plans and adjust to changing needs and requirements.
