Job summary

Kingfisher in Kraków is seeking a BI Analyst on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will design and deliver Power BI data models and dashboards for the Commercial team, collaborating closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and adoption.

The role requires at least 3 years of Power BI BI experience, strong SQL and data modelling skills, and excellent communication. Flexible hybrid work from home and office in Kraków are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI.
• Good knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions, including requirements documentation.
• Prepare, optimize, and maintain SQL queries.
• Prepare and cleanse available data sources, including Excel files.
• Ensure data quality through validation.
• Collaborate with Data engineering teams on data integration.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver solutions iteratively based on feedback.
• Apply development standards, including version control, documentation, governance, and security.
• Support user enablement through training materials and user support.
• Work in agile framework, including planning, prioritization, and sprint-based delivery.

What's the job?

Purpose of the role: This role designs and delivers Power BI data models and reports that turn business requirements into reliable, high-quality dashboarding applications for Kingfisher's Commercial team. Working closely with data engineering and business stakeholders across the Group to ensure data quality, adoption, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.
