Job summary

emagine is seeking a communicative BI Analyst in Warsaw to join the Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Intelligence team. The role splits time between BI development and support for the eGO - Operational Finance team, ensuring reliable data and insightful dashboards.

You will gather, analyze, and visualize financial and operational data to drive planning, budgeting, and performance measurement, working with business stakeholders to translate needs into effective BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, IT, or related field with data-driven BI experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tool.

Job description

We are looking for a communicative, detail-oriented, and curious BI Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Intelligence team in Warsaw. This role will split its time between BI team work and dedicated support for our eGO - Operational Finance team, working alongside a colleague from the team in a shared coverage model that ensures eGO always has support available.

The BI Analyst plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making and analytical excellence within the organization. This group-wide role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that support planning, budgeting/forecasting, and performance management. By leveraging analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools, the BI Analyst ensures that financial planning and analysis teams have access to accurate, timely, and meaningful data. You'll work closely with stakeholders across finance and business units to identify key performance drivers, enhance data models, and continuously improve reporting frameworks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated reports to enhance data accessibility and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across FP&A, Business Partnering, eGO, and other teams across the group to gather requirements and develop insightful Power BI dashboards.
• Support and improve data models and pipelines to enable seamless integration, reporting, and visualization while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency while maintaining clear documentation of data models, reporting logic, and dashboard functionality.
• Improve dashboard usability, performance, and interactivity to enhance self-service analytics.
• Manage and prioritize ad-hoc reporting requests and collaborate with stakeholders, particularly within eGO, to understand needs.
• Support improvement initiatives in automating data extraction and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide training and basic troubleshooting support to business users on Power BI usage.
• Continuously develop technical skills and business understanding by working closely with senior colleagues and participating in team initiatives.

What we expect:

• Experience in finance, IT, or a related field, ideally in a data-driven or business intelligence role. Both early-career and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
• Basic to good SQL knowledge is essential, along with familiarity with databases and scripting.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Power BI or a similar BI tool.
• A curious mindset and a genuine willingness to understand how things really work behind the data.
• Professional communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and visualize data effectively.
• Ability to understand business stakeholders' needs and translate them into effective solutions, and to break down complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Continuous improvement mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, automation, and data processes.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI is a plus.
