Job summary

Sprout Social is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Poland. You will work across mobile, front-end, back-end and site reliability groups to build scalable services that process billions of requests daily.

You’ll write clean, tested code using Java and Python, collaborate with product managers and designers, and own features from conception to production. The role includes growth opportunities and a remote-friendly, Poland-wide workspace.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience developing and supporting software in a production environment.
• 2 years experience programming in object oriented languages such as Java, C#, Python, or C++.
• Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-tested and reviewable code, leveraging technologies such as Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, Hbase, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, complete feature work, and identify blockers.
• Own the code you write and deploy to production, including identifying and communicating risks or issues.
• Review pull requests and design documents from peers, while recognizing and applying established code patterns and best practices.
