Job summary

Qualifications

• Mid Engineer with 3+ years building backend services or equivalent depth, capable of independence.
• Strong Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot; comfortable with Maven, Git, and automated tests.
• Experience shipping and operating production systems with logs, metrics, and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: design, implementation, tests, rollout and production follow-up.
• Build and maintain Java / Spring Boot backend services for OTT messaging.
• Work with partner APIs and webhooks, including version upgrades and tight deadlines.
• Contribute to production support: investigate incidents and ship fixes.
• Improve reliability, observability and code quality; review code and mentor juniors.
• Use AI as part of daily workflow (code, tests, docs, investigations).
• Collaborate closely with Product and other engineering teams.
