Job summary

Infobip LAB in Katowice is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to help deliver scalable backend services for OTT messaging. You will work on features end-to-end, including design, implementation, tests, and production support, in a globally connected engineering team.

You will collaborate with product and other engineering teams, use Java/Spring Boot, Maven, Git, and automated tests, and contribute to production observability and reliability. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building backend services (or equivalent depth).
• Strong Java and Spring Boot; comfortable with Maven, Git, and automated tests.
• Shipped and operated production systems: logs, metrics, incidents.
• Able to take a vaguely specified problem and propose a design with stable quality.
• Write clear, reviewable code with good tests and documentation.
• Communicate in English with engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end: design, implement, test, rollout, and production follow-up.
• Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services for OTT messaging.
• Work with partner APIs and webhooks, including upgrades.
• Contribute to production support: incidents, bugs, fixes.
• Improve reliability, observability, and quality of the systems touched.
• Mentor junior colleagues as you grow in the role.
