Job summary

LeoVegas Group is seeking an experienced Java/Kotlin Engineer for Regulatory Reporting, focusing on Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot within a data engineering mindset. You will work on regulatory reporting features for a Netherlands-facing casino platform.

The role involves analyzing business requirements, API exploration, documentation, and building robust microservices with a strong emphasis on testing and performance tuning. On-call duties may apply quarterly.

Qualifications

• Min. 5+ years of experience using Java/Kotlin + Spring Boot framework.
• You have experience with MySQL.
• You have a desire to develop and work in the data engineering field and become an SQL expert, but no prior experience is required.
• You are familiar with microservice architecture.
• You speak English fluently (C1 level is a minimum, as we communicate mostly in English).

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements.
• Explore other domains' APIs.
• Write documentation.
• Implement microservices code and tests.
• Troubleshooting.
• Performance tuning and optimization.
• Testing (aiming for automated tests).
• May be on-call up to once per quarter with compensation for on-call week.
