Emerson Electric Co in Warsaw is seeking a Software Developer to help build backend services, APIs, and data solutions using C# and .NET. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of backend systems within an international, cross-functional team.

You will work on secure, scalable software, participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and backlog refinement, and collaborate with product management, frontend developers, DevOps, and cybersecurity specialists

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core and REST API design.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) and EF Core.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong English communication in a global team.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze product and system requirements and translate them into backend implementation tasks with senior engineers.
• Design, develop, document, and maintain backend services, REST APIs, business logic, and integrations using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Implement data access solutions for relational and document databases following architecture standards.
• Develop service-based solutions with asynchronous messaging and processing.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging, and security controls.
• Create and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
• Investigate defects and support root-cause analysis.
• Support improvements to performance, reliability, maintainability, and observability.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments while supporting releases.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and estimation sessions.
• Refine backlog by clarifying requirements and breaking down features.
• Participate in Program Increment planning and cross-team coordination.
• Identify risks and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, frontend, test, architects, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering standards.
