Emerson Japan, Ltd. in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end web solutions across Angular, C#/.NET, APIs, and databases. You will work in a collaborative international team focused on reliability and industrial software excellence.

You'll contribute to architecture decisions, develop reusable components, and support CI/CD pipelines while mentoring peers and helping drive continuous improvement in a no-blame culture.

• 5+ years of professional experience designing and developing frontend and backend applications.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will design, build, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end web solutions across modern Angular applications, C#/.NET backend services, APIs, databases, and system integrations. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Analyze customer, product, and system requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, accessible, and maintainable software solutions.
• Design and develop modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build, maintain, and document REST APIs, backend services, business logic, and integrations with distributed systems.
• Contribute to application, solution, and system architecture decisions in collaboration with architects and engineering teams.
• Develop reusable frontend components, backend libraries, and shared services aligned with established engineering standards.
• Design and maintain data access layers and data models for relational and document databases.
• Implement microservice-based and event-driven architectures, including reliable asynchronous messaging.
• Apply authentication, authorization, validation, logging, monitoring, and security best practices across the software stack.
• Create and maintain automated testing solutions, including unit, integration, component, contract, and end-to-end tests.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, reliability, observability, and security.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized development environments, software releases, and production diagnostics.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship and guidance to peers.
• Contribute to agile planning activities, including backlog refinement, estimation, dependency identification, and implementation planning.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation, engineering standards, developer tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support knowledge sharing and help foster the professional growth of team members.
• Partner with technology leadership on team development and organizational initiatives.
• Perform other responsibilities within the scope of the role as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience designing and developing both frontend applications and backend services at a senior technical level.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, HTML, CSS, and Sass.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Angular architecture, reusable components, reactive forms, routing, dependency injection, state management, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET Core architecture, middleware, logging, validation, configuration, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and data modeling for relational and document databases.
• Experience implementing and integrating microservice-based and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience using NgRx for state management.
• Experience building accessible and reusable user interfaces using Angular Material, Angular CDK, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, responsive design, secure coding practices, and design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing across frontend and backend solutions.
• Experience working with relational and document databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with production support, diagnostics, monitoring, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience using Git, Docker, package management tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or SAFe.
• English and Polish language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Experience contributing to design systems, reusable component libraries, or shared backend frameworks.
• Experience with micro-frontends, API gateways, or advanced microservice architectures.
• Experience building data visualizations or dashboards using ECharts or similar technologies.
• Experience with interactive diagramming, graph visualization, or canvas-based applications.
• Experience developing Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
• Experience designing and maintaining multilingual or localized applications.
• Experience with WebSockets or SignalR.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards, Core Web Vitals, OpenTelemetry, and observability platforms.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers using tools such as Figma.
• Experience with cloud platforms and orchestration technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Experience developing software for industrial environments, critical infrastructure, or high-availability systems.
• Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining quality, security, confidentiality, and intellectual property protection.
