Job summary

The Old Course Hotel, part of Kohler Co., is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to oversee kitchen porters and maintain kitchen hygiene across seven bars and restaurant outlets at the resort in St Andrews.

You will supervise cleaning schedules, coordinate with the kitchen team, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained daily. A permanent, full-time role with a 40-hour week offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of at least 2 years within a kitchen / cleaning based role.
• Experience in training and developing team members to uphold standards and improve.
• Understanding of food hygiene standards.
• Experience working with chemicals (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assign cleaning duties and ensure kitchen areas are adequately covered for cleaning of equipment, crockery, and utensils.
• Maintain general cleaning duties including waste disposal, floor cleaning, and fridge/freezer turnover.
• Inform Kitchen Clerk or Maintenance Team of maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Kitchen Teams to ensure equipment is available daily and cleaning rotas are followed.
