Job summary

ALGOTEQUE Innovation Hub is seeking an Information Security Engineer focused on Microsoft cloud technologies to strengthen security across cloud and hybrid environments. You will blend security architecture, engineering, and operations to protect Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.

Work with security, IT, and business stakeholders across multiple countries to design secure solutions, improve security posture, and ensure governance compliance in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Information Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Security Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview, Microsoft 365 Defender, or Intune.
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust, IAM, hybrid cloud security, and API security.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security assessments, and incident response.
• Scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Microsoft Security certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Provide technical guidance on secure architecture and implementation to IT teams and stakeholders.
• Embed security into cloud infrastructure, applications, identity, endpoints, APIs, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate security requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support security operations, including incident response, investigation, remediation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead vulnerability management activities, including security assessments, penetration testing coordination, and remediation tracking.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot complex security issues and provide technical leadership.
• Develop and maintain security standards, documentation, and governance frameworks.
