Job summary

Tieto Corp. is seeking an experienced Data Architect in Poland to design scalable data solutions across multi-source systems, enabling analytics and reporting. You will model data, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate with analysts, DBAs, and developers to ensure data quality and performance.

Applicants should have strong Azure expertise, advanced SQL, and experience with data warehouses/lakes; English at upper-intermediate level or higher is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.
• 3+ years with Azure data platform services.
• Hands-on with Azure SQL Database: schema design, indexing.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory: pipelines and data flows.
• Experience with ADLS Gen2 and Azure Storage.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, PySpark, Delta Lake.
• Strong data modeling knowledge: dimensional modeling and star schema.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins, CTEs, tuning.
• Experience with multi-source data integration, APIs, data quality.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git, IaC, and Azure security concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect data solutions for multi-source system integration.
• Create scalable datasets to support analytics and reporting platforms.
• Gather business requirements and translate into technical solutions and specs.
• Design data models, ETL/ELT, data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, data quality, and validation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, DBAs, and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support backend development when required.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team.
